  • Great nose and great flavor up front, but ends on a bitter and almost acidic note, which ruined it for me.

  • Rich, golden in color, with a faint nose of apple and nuts that carries to the palate. There is some nice upfront fruit, particularly a little melon, along with honeysuckle, but it tails at the end and becomes just a touch bitter and hot. Improves with air so I would recommend letting this breath.

  • Light pale yellow color, not quite gold with a nose giving nuances of some citrus and a touch of ripe melon with a little mineral backing. Unobtrusive and light entry with a pleasant mid palate and a lingering finish that had a medium fruit texture. Hardly in your face, rather muted and demure.

  • Pale gold. Nutty, citris aromas with notes of cream and yeast. Good intensity and complexity. Medium bodied, bright wine-- lime, lemon, peach and hazelnut flavors backed by flinty notes. Bright acidity gives good length and balances the ample fruit. Hazelnuts, peaches and a touch of honey on the fairly long finish. Nothing like a typical Cali white... I would guess a Loire, tasted blind. Bonny Doon claims this wine is ageworthy (6 or so years of improvement) but I doubt I'll wait that long.
