Beautiful straw color, no oxidation, and surprisingly fresh with sufficient acidity. Nose was on the subtle side, but kept my interest through the entire bottle. Paired perfectly with a mild chicken curry and rice dish. I have two remaining bottles, and will aim to drink them before the end of 2022. The bottle is in peak form and I don't expect it to improve.

Beautiful aged White Burgundy: Nose of mint, green herbals and grass, tart lime-lemon citrus, steely crushed minerals, salty umami, some florals and just a touch of deeper bass oak/butterscotch/nuts. Deep and gripping on the palate - great acid and bite, wonderful texture: more cool herbs and mint, lime-lemon, rocks, steel, flowers, salty nuts. Long driving finish with mint, nuts, salty. In a great place and will hold for at least a decade. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5/6, Finish - 1.5/2 = 17.5/20.

Textbook Puligny-Montrachet with a score that is probably underrating based off the fact that my palate has veered more towards a creamier, oakier, more "Meursault-like" style. Steely, lots of lemon, grapefruit, a touch of subtle oak, impeccable balance, and quite frankly, not a lot of evolution for a 14 year-old white wine. This tells me that 1) 2002 was a ridiculously good, ageless vintage and 2) this was a great bottle. I wish they could all be like this.

Purchased on release from Premier Cru. Nose: Lots of well-integrated oak. Salty. Minerals Palate: Very big on entry, but taught and racy throughout. Lots of acid, and lemon with steely minerality. Very lively and juicy but serious. Slides nicely into a lemony and acidic finish. Nose: 4/6, Palate: 6/6, Finish: 5/6, Je ne sais quoi (wild card): 1/2 = 16/20 = 92/100
