Much more fruit than the 2002 or 2007- also opened this evening. Cork fell apart Was much bigger than expected- though not powerful. Lacked the finesse And nose I expected. Opened up and settled down after an hour. Still enjoyed, but atypical

Very nice, very fruity, cherries and blueberries with a nice fresh acidity and freshness, never guessed 2003, the bottle was gone in no time. Much better then the Grand Echezeaux from ‘03 Lamarche. No hurry with this wine.

Balanced, beautifully structured and full-bodied with lovely subtle flower fragrance and cassis, spice and red fruit that evoles to ripe, rich, smooth flavors.

Recomended by the sommelier at the dining Room in SF. Definitely one of the best young burgs I've tasted, a new world style with detectible oak but so ready to drink and so tasty. The nose was absolutely massive, this thing needed no decanting at all. Perfect wine for the salt and pepper tasting menu.

Deep ruby. Oaky, spicy nose with black fruits, herbs and earth. Fat, extraced and oaky in the mouth with an herbal, woody, balsamic character. Firm tannins and a slightly green, herbal finish. Became dryer and dryer inthe glass after several hours. Not of grand cru caliber

Very nice. Lovely fruit on palette. Terroir in the glass. A bit more delicate than I would have expected.
