This is OK, but nothing special. I picked it up at Trader Joe's for something like $8. And it tastes like an $8 bottle of wine, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just not one of those blow your mind bargain surprises. It's got decent plummy fruit on the nose, but absolutely no staying power in the mouth. It's a "daily drinking wine" for me.

Oh boy, is this bad. Dusty,musty, and loaded with earth. There isn't any fruit. I've got nothing positive to say about this wine. Except A co-worker had a bottle a few days later and said it wasn't as bad. But even at such a low price, there are many other malbecs to choose from for just a couple bucks more.
