Open and giving aromas of strawberry and kiwi. Palate is medium bodied with berry fruits and underlying bready notes. Well stuffed with zingy acidity and heavy bead providing lift, cut and freshness to the palate. Modest finish. North of $30, I question the QPR. (4+12+16+7=89).

This was the first time we tasted a Schramsberg sparkler. Really nice pink/orange color, and a nose of toast, raspberries, strawberries and some flowers. Really crisp, citrusy flavors and a nice refreshing finish.

Pale pink/salmon in color, with plenty of fizz. The yeasty nose has a sweet, floral lift. Tastes of tart raspberries and strawberry pith, with plenty of citrus leading into the crisp, puckering finish. A nice sparkling wine, but at this price (about US$30) I prefer their blanc de blancs or blanc de noirs. Served with Thanksgiving dinner at 7°C (45°F). Any colder would be probably be intensely sour.

A spectacular peach color. Crisp on the palate. Would work well with the shrimp just off the barbie, brie, strawberries or by itself on our deck overlooking the Colorado Rockies. A great summer sparker.

Very pleasant & easy to drink but not nearly the depth or concentration of flavors typical of Schramsberg. Nice acidity and body.

Very dry, but with crisp fruit, a beautiful salmon color, and lots of bubbles.
