  • Pure Pinot Noir aromas. Restrained, tart and airy in the mouth, but with a strong and smooth inner core. Made in an old fasioned, lean and transparent style. Sadly, my only bottle.

  • (at The Modern - NYC) Pale ruby with a hint of garnet in the middle. This opened extremely funky on the nose but quickly settled into a red fruit and mineral dominated nose. It certainly gained complexity and depth with air. A hint of wild farm/barn remains and adds complexity – also cerise noir. I really like this. It is not big or ripe or lush, but it is beautifully balanced, elegant and long. There is a remarkable transparency and grip in this light to medium bodied wine. Excellent wine from a vintage you don't hear about. Plenty of sweet fruit and purity. (90)
