Dry River Pinot Noir Vertical Tasting and a few others (Le Petit Sommelier): The nose is explosive, full ripe red and black fruit, raisin, sultana, dried fruit, full spice showing a nice overall decadent profile. The palate is quite more aggressive, pronounced acidity, sultana, dried red fruit, dates, chocolate and coffee bits, quite dense, alcohol infused (14.9%) long finish. Outstanding quality, drink now and for me this is the best of the three Zinfandels

14.9% alcohol. As has always been the case when I've encountered these three component bottlings of the 2003 Geyserville, this was my favorite again. The most complete wine of the bunch, with a compelling red- and black-fruited nose, tinged with spice and earth. In the mouth, more vibrant and racy, with terrific acidity and a long finish. A-
