  • Excellent. Appeared to be young, as it was tight, and took hours to show flavors of depths, but was very enjoyable to deguste while it opened.

Nose of dusty old berry, cherry, red raspberry, old greenhouse aromas of dirt and cherry accents.
Palate of sharp tight dusty rhubarb, underripe garden fruit, greens: The more air it got the tighter it became.

    Seems like a baby.

    Probably has years more ahead.

    Will keep a glass overnight.
    Next day: Christmas.
Wow. Held its own against the roast Christmas duck with apples. That fat was PERFECTLY cut by this wine. I especially loved the funk of earth present. This was an authentic to source beauty despite the year. I'd say the Chistmas star of the lineup.
