Golden amber. Aroma of honeysuckle, apricot, juicy sweet peach. Palate entry of waxy mouthfeel ans sweet lemonade, followed by vanilla, lemon peel, pineapple and sweet tangerine. Long finish of gentle oak, lemon pips, orange and mint. A very balanced white Bordeaux at its peak after 15 years, very rich and complex.

It was a sister bottle of the one consumed on April 29. This showed much better condition- same honey and caramel scent; my 12 year old son who sniffed the wine from the glass noted that it does not smell like wine at all. Color was much less concentration of yellow. Remarkable, oily but crispy taste. Great wine.

This bottle was unfortunately overdue - however very strong and pleasant nose of honey, caramel flavor. Very dark yellow, straw color. Tasted more like to the dry sherry or dry Sauterne

This bottle was definitely past it maturity though it kept of some of its pedigree of excellent pessac leognan (color was still intact, some late white Bordeaux scents). May be it is this one particular bottle (other bottles from the same case have been perfect so far)?

Belle robe soutenue légèrement cuivrée. Du croquant et de la matière sur des notes de peau de pamplemousse. Avec des beaux amers et une longue finale un peu fumée. Très beau et encore frais

PnP. Drank with sushi. Cantalope, tropical fruits, lemon peels on the nose, it was still not completely open in the first glass but opened up beautifully in the second and on. This is great now but will hold for at least 2-3 years. Liked it.

Very smooth and subtle, perhaps my chicken curry dinner overwhelms the delicate nature of this wine. Will pump down and try tomorrow.
On day 2, this is much better chilled but still not entirely to my taste: mineral, herbs, and citrus (tart grapefruit). Balanced and well made but I prefer more fruit, less acid. Still tasty with my chicken sandwich.

Color: Gold, light brown. Aroma: Mint, citrus, pineapple, mango and lime. Taste: At entry, oak, lemon, citrus, vanilla, waxy and thick mouthfeel. Mid-Palate: White pepper, kiwi, melon and apricot. Finish: Oaky, spicy, sea weed, thin short finish. Spicy, melon and citrus core, hot and too spicy for my liking.

Drink up. Has evolved -- oxidized -- remarkably fast for a white Pessac. Enjoyable for its buttery cashew and pear torte aromas & flavours. Solid palate intensity and length, but lacking any freshness and a bit cloying/viscous on the finish. Consistent TNs between bottles purchased at LCBO and SAQ.

I've had quite a bit of white Bordeaux recently and this one was a little disappointing. Everything that you'd expect from a white P/L, but turned down a couple of notches. Green citrus, cream and a little savoury asparagus character on both the nose and in the mouth. Medium length. This was a perfectly OK wine, but there are many better choices out there for less money.

Better than last bottle. Nose of buttered toast, pear purée, lemon curd and ever so slightly floral. Medium acidity, body and alcohol. Good length. Quite enjoyable between cellar and room temperature; a slightly smoky vanilla toast quality really comes through. Bottle variation is an issue -- as such, I'm going to drink the rest of what I have through 2016.

Cork had 1-2 mm of staining, and was in good compression. Nevertheless, this bottle showed premox'd aromas and flavours. Aromas and flavours of sweet gooseberries, ripe pears, vanilla cream and popcorn. Tasted a bit better with an hour of breathing in the fridge - but nothing spectacular (+1 point). Doesn't resemble 2 bottles I've had previously (2010 & 11) in terms of profile and length.

Golden yellow colour, clear. A tad restrained nose of honey, lemon, grapefruit and hazelnuts. In the mouth it starts off fruity, then into perfume. The finish is softly bitter and nutty. Dry (perhaps slightly off), low/medium acidity, medium body, medium+ length. Decent complexity and very enjoyable.

Bordeaux Update (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): The nose is very stony and pungent here with aromas of sweet musk, honeysuckle, and stone fruits. Subtle sweetness to the fruit with citrus and mineral flavors. Elegant with solid character if somewhat thin on the finish.

Light and golden in appearance. Grapefruit and stoned apricot on the nose. Honey and melon were most obvious on the palate. Crisp, dry with decent minerality.

Left bank Bordeaux: Straw yellow color. Restrained nose with notes of wine gum and gooseberry, gains some intensity with air. Great acidity makes the mouth feel very refreshing and lively. Sharp, fine yellow fruit, plums, peaches and gooseberry. Nice balance.

Color: Yellow gold, long legs. Aroma: Fragrant, sweet floral aroma., tropical, mango, lime, banana. Taste: Entry: waxy, lemon. Mid-palate: Spicy, eucalyptus, grassy, medicinal, weighty. Finish: Dried herbs, spicy white pepper. Simple, muddled wine that lacks precision, but refreshing as expected.
