Brimming with mineral, and astoundingly fresh for a five-year-old white. The acid stands up to powerful flavors like ginger. Western Australia must be only a few years from worldwide discovery as the boss region of chardonnay outside of Burgundy.

Disappointing. Very little fruit. Substantial acidity and bitterness on the finish. Not very pleasurable at this point- a disappointment. I hope my remaining '03s (which I have loved) haven't suffered the same fate (i.e. the fruit is gone)

Straw yellow with greenish hues. Nuts, butterscotch, citrus fruits. Mid-bodied with very high acidity. Long finish. Its fruit has weakened signifficantly since my last tasting a year ago.

Pale gold with tropical aromas including green apple candy necklace, and vanilla bean. Medium body with good acidity. Flavors of green apples and stonefruit with mild butter. The finish is long and citric tart.

A restrained nose and palate. Nicely handled oak. Length and depth of the palate are both good. Would like to see it with a couple of years of bottle age.

Nose: vanillin, sweet spicy oak, toasted hazelnut. Palate: sweet, tropical and stone fruits dressed in spicy oak, with good acidity. Rather sweet, as in RS. Medium finish of mostly oak flavors, showing no heat, although this was served on the cool side. Probably well made for the style, but definitely not one i enjoy.

Disastrous! This wine went bad! Most probably tainted during the bottling. Will re-taste this some other time.

Outstanding quality, but a bit closed. Notes of apricot, lemon curd, spice and mineral on a surprisingly racy frame. Try again in six months.
