This bottle is much better than the last two bottles of this that I have had which were showing some oxidation. After about an hour of breathing this is really tasty. It has starts with some creaminess from the botrytis and then finishes with nice, fruity acidity.

Tasted the day of purchase, good brass color, generous demi-sec sweetness even at this age. Mature but not tired, honey prominent in nose, especially as it warmed up. Certainly interesting, pleasurable, if not spectacular.

The bottles are quite variable. While good, this bottle lacks some acidity.

More acidity than the last bottle. This is a great aged chenin. Good mix of fruit, earthiness, funk and acidity.

Drinkable and even enjoyable with lobster but lacking the acid edge it probably had at one time.

The last two bottles of this are starting to show some oxidation. Still a nice wine, but not like the several bottles I had a year or two ago.
