More reminiscent of a LBV than a tawny, but this has typical port characteristics, with good balance and complexity. It's a bit muted on the nose and midpalate, and a bit hot on the finish -but overall it is 'solid' and an excellent value at $10.
I drank it over a week, and found it best from day 3-6. After day 7 it became disjointed, a bit extra-oxidize, muted, and overly hot.

Honest for the price. But if I had red my previous note I probably would not have bought it again. Would love to see what TJ could do for a few dollars more in the category but there may not be a market for it.

Ok young tawny. More like a ruby with a bit of rancio funk. I thought it may be something from TJ's that would exceed expectations. It did not. For the price I would rather get something that cost 2x from a known producer.
Sealed and left in the fridge for a week. Rounder with. Nice cherry custard caramel note. +3 pts. Feeling the value a bit.

Opened for Christmas dessert and no specific notes taken at the time. While quality-wise, it wouldn't stand up to a good Tawny from one of the top houses, for the price it's really good. It's also a great option for times when you can use a Port to open for people who aren't enthusiasts, or need a bottle when you don't think you'll finish it in a day or two (this one doesn't hold up well after opening.)

well, it's not tawny colored. but besides that, this is the best deal I have ever found at Trader Joes. simple, sweet, yet port-like ... for $7! I will keep this around for easy, cheap dessert. not nearly as imbalanced or alcoholic as I suspected at this price, though it does taste almost as if cane sugar was added. I wonder how long it will last open, too.

Toffee, butterscotch, a bit of chocolate, with underlying fig and date notes. Nothing special, but great QPR at $8.

All that air has softened the fiery notes, making it palatable.

PnP.
Consistent with revised previous note.

enjoyable thick molasses with minerality...more on the fuller bodied side...masculine.

Great value wine find. Pleasant enough everyday sipper. Notes of cherry and red berries, medium long finish.

Needs lots of air. Much better than the Ruby; still not something I'd choose to drink.
