Dark burgundy red in colour. Tarry and liquorice bouquet. Excellent balance for a $20 wine, punches way above its weight. Lots of dark red fruit and blackberries in the mouth with a silky mouthfeel to round it out. Nice finish. Will continue to evolve for a few years and benefits from decanting

Ruby with relatively thin rim variation given the age of the wine. Medium to a bit faster legs. Aromas and flavors are distinctly red fruit:strawberry, raspberry, a bit of cranberry, as well as hints of dust, and light toast. Minimal black olive, green olive and bell pepper also there as the wine opened up in the glass. On days 2 & 3, some vanilla, nutmeg and allspice entered the picture. Medium body and finish. Texture is primarily silky but also smooth. Finish is medium, acidity is low. Impression: balanced, varietally correct and nicely aged. Clearly evolved over a few days. At $14, QPR is average. Either at or just past prime. Drink now.

1st day it was a little unbalanced (too acidic), color is a nice purple, and aroma shows promise. 2nd day its aroma and flavor was better, and a little less acidic/sour. Not sure why this is in WS top 100 of 2015, maybe it is meant to cellar for a few years before drinking.

Bought in Thailand. An ok Cabernet Sauvignon, but once again, I have no idea why this was included in the WS TOP 100 of 2015...they definitely didn't have the same wine in the bottle. Supple tannins with some tar, red berries and some bitterness on the palate. Slightly unbalanced. Drink now, no reasons to wait.

I thought first bottle was flawed or defective, so dumped it. Second bottle is the same. I am unsure now if it is bad, or just mislabeled. It can't be a cab. Maybe a blend. I'm just a freshman here, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was a malbec, petite sirah blend. Never heard of such a thing. But, at the end of a long day at work, it's drinkable ... Barely. Maybe better the 2nd day. One of those wines. I hate to add the rating " I don't like it," so I will resist. Twas only $13.

Floral notes of straw, roses and subtle lilacs. Solid Mouth feel and heather, a little pepper and soft notes of leather and currant. Finish is green melon and green grass. Surprisingingly likable !!

This is not your typical $13 Chilean Cabernet. Medium-to-full bodied, yet very mouth-filling and complex. Noticeably dry and astringent with a huge mineral streak. Shows tremendous intensity on the mid-palate, which also features a prominent note of orange peel. Offers attractive hints of coffee and iron, along with drying tannins on the long, slightly chewy finish. There's just enough tangy, delicious plum and dark currant fruit here to keep this balanced. Very nice indeed. 50+5+12+16+7=90

Notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and roasted bell peppers that a lot of Chilean Cabs are known for(could it be the Carmenere in it?). It is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Carmenere and 3% Petite Verdot. The wine is aged in French Oak barrels for 12 months. Delicious wine and great price point. Definitely worth trying.

Popped and poured. Vanilla, plum, and smoky green bell pepper on the nose; yes, it smells like a Chilean red. And yeah, there's too much sweet vanilla up front on the palate, but ripe plum takes over before giving way to a very nice peppery, tar-tinged finish that lingers. Silky mouthfeel is an added bonus. Outstanding value.

PnVnD 1/3 of the bottle let air for 1hr. Fleshed out a bit from the previous bottle. Still has that overwhelming green menthol note on the nose and the palate. Will see how the rest of the bottle shows in a day or two. Still not seeing how WS thought this was a Top 100 wine.
Day 3. Geen menthol note has dissipated making it better upfront and in the middle. Weak finish still makes it hard to see as a Top 100 wine.

med garnet color. Roses, dark cherries on the nose. Strong blackberries, cherries, vanilla with soft tannins. I get some residual sugar mid pale leading to med tannins and some heat on the finish.
Its good for $10 at Costco. Seems a bit over the top and over engineered but drinkable.

Per our Costco, this wine rated 91 by WS. Bleh. Maybe our bottle was bad. Wine taste was so-so, but aroma was off-putting. Unlike any cab I've had. We dumped out the bottle. Neither of us finished one glass. May try 2nd bottle in a few months or years.

This wine embodies why cabernet sauvignon remains the king of grapes, and why Chile and Argentina remain such consistently terrific value regions.
A terrific, classic cabernet nose: rich boysenberry and cassis along with tobacco and leather. The palate is full-bodied and spicy, but not especially oaky, with generous cream and chocolate notes adding a lovely mouthfeel to the more Bordeaux-like herbaceousness - particularly mint, which seems to be a common hint in Chilean cabs.
A wonderful value at $13.

Popped and poured. Aromas of black cherry, currant, chocolate and smoke. Black and red fruit, coffee, smoke, chocolate and ripe, juicy tannins on the palate. Finishes with good length. Full bodied. A very good QPR. Served with lasagna.

Got this in at the store and wanted to check it out. Aromas of melted chocolate, blackberry, current and lead pencil. More blackberry and current on the palate with mocha and a touch of earthiness mixed in as well. For $15 this is a steal. More structure than say your H3 Cab that is a big blast of fruit.

Picked this up at Costco. Popped and poured through an aerator.
Purple, medium body, young, cassis, plum, with a hint of menthol on the nose. I didn't catch any herbaceous notes. Acidity, alcohol and tannin seem in balance. Not much mid palate or finish.
This is quite a pleasant cellar saver for 11 bucks. I don't think it's a WS top 100, but it would go great with a burger, pizza, or chicken dinner. I'll get more at that price point. Solid 88-89 on my palate.

Tight upon opening, short glass decant given. Aroma intensity is medium with scents of plum, cherry, graphite, menthol, coffee, and chocolate with hints of anise and sandalwood. The palate follows suit with a medium/medium-plus body, moderate/moderate-plus alcohol, acidity and tannins. Flavors of plum, red cherry, herbs, mint, chocolate, coffee, graphite, vanilla and sappy oak tones. The finish is medium.
Overall a good wine but hardly what I would call a top 100 wine from WS...

PnVnD let air for 1hr. Very pruple almost saturated with lavendar to clear rim. Cassis plum and the Chilean telltale cedar stemmy sappy menthol note on the nose. Red and black currant cedar and pine sap on the palate. Very racy herbal on the short finish. Hollow mid-palate. Well short of a WS Top 100 for me.
