Last bottle of mine. Definitely showing its age. Smells like raisons, still that sour cherry smell, kind of barnyard. Not sure it's getting any better than this. If you have this wine drink it now.

Opened and let it breath for 2 hours. It was stored properly since purchased in 1987. Leather and tobacco nose. Very soft on palate multi layered cherry rasberry notes. Still has fruit and nice finish.

of the 6 bottles over the past 2 years, this one was by far the best. I'm guessing the others were not in as good condition. This was really good aged bordeaux. Like it should be.

Possible flawed; good cork seal but pressured, gaseous build up evident upon opening. Brett city; dissipates but does not disappear. Good remaining fruit.

Popped and poured; the colour is a reddish brick with some bricking along the edges; nose of refrigerated cherry pie, raspberries, and some faint tree bark. Red fruits and some tobacco on the palate with some acidity still hanging on; finish still has some tannins on it. This can probably last a few more years.

Dark brick orange color Nose of sour cherries, cassis, kirsch, cellar floor. Smooth and mellow with fine tannin. Some licorice, cherry, strawberry, great minerality. Still pretty fresh and youthful, good acid still. Medium long finish. Drink now-2019 91+

This was a fine bottle aged to perfection, bright and squeaky clean. Light brown in colour, earth, seawater and maybe some dried fruit. Drink up.
