One Harbour Road. A delicate and nuanced one... really expressed the acidity and balance of the vintage. Gold with touch of amber creeping in. Caramel and butterscotch notes. (1904/3314)

Served too cold, took 30 minutes for the nose to open. Complex and engaging nose. Good attack and intensity on the frontpalate, but pulled apart somewhat across the midpalate. Finish was fine but never fully resonated. Palate didn't seem to fully open and in fact started to regress ever so slightly after an hour of air time.

Fint åldrad med början till lite oxidativa toner. Fet och kraftfull med massor av mineral i form av ostronskal och nästan lite touch av havsluft. Fantastiskt lång och fin

1st bottle was corked and the restaurant did not pick up on it… oops. 2nd bottle was brilliantly fresh and pure but not as succulently rich and heavy as the 1987 DRC Montrachet - more linear and sharp, which I did not expect given the characteristics of most 1989 white Burgundies. While the 1987 was beginning to fade, this kept going strong, revealing more character and minerality.

Focused, intense and deep. Good bottle.

Great initial pungency, however lost some definition both on the side and backpalate after 45 minutes of air time.
