Leiden visits Amsterdam Burgundy lunch: Still lots of fruit and power in this wine, however there is a corkiness in the back that makes me stop drinking this. Very unfortunate.

Pretty sure this was DRC made but label different. Had Leroy stamped on the bottom left corner so think it is. Whatever this was a completely mind blowing experience. A 1967, not remembered as being the greatest vintage in history but this was one of the greatest wines I've ever had. Very complex and very difficult to describe but had this hedonistic scent of all sorts of things. Still remarkably fresh with a knockout palate that was all silk and lace. Incredible!

& samhoud|places (Amsterdam): Lovely structure underneath but it’s scalped and flat from the cork taint ….
