Drinking really well. Complex and lengthy, with subtle well integrated oak smokyness and vanilla, and still a reasonable amount of acid. Had a little less fruit than ideal but still delicious.

Decanted 2 hours. Very little sediment. Very deeply colored right to the rim. Deep and smoky nose is loaded with black fruit, pan roasted spices and cola. Firm and structured on the palate with black cherry jam, plum and licorice flavors that are framed by clean, fresh acidity. Solid and firm, this is very much a 2005 and will continue to develop over the next several years. Now through 2019.

Has held up well over the years. On it's downward spiral but still had some fruit left which isn't saying much for the Sineann bombs. I'm still a fan of these young for a hedonistic fruit explosion. Once in a while they are appreciated. Makes me wish I drank the case in the first few years but it's always fun to save one bottle for exploring.

Decanted 2 hours. Chunky sediment. Deep crimson right to the thin clear rim. Heady dark fruit and smoky herb nose. Quite viscous and rich with deep, layered flavors of black cherry pie, spiced plum and a bit of dark chocolate. Rich and full-bodied with good acidity and some ripe tannins, this is very long and luscious. Exceptional! Now through 2017.

A Few 2005 Oregon Pinots: Decanted 2 hours. Very deeply colored. Firm chunky sediment. Deep but closely held nose offers glimpses of dark fruit, smoke and savory spices. Rich but bright on the palate with a silky texture and black fruit flavors, this wine is complete balanced and long on the finish. Full bodied with the wood and tannins well absorbed, this is still rather unevolved although already delicious. There is a good chance for positive developement. Drink 2014-2018.

Sineann wines and whole bunch of other stuff (Our home): Drinking well, but still seems to need more time. The first year with glass corks and (like screw caps), I think still needs some time to develop. Nice cherry profile. Very clean. There is some layering but quite tightly wound. Delicious though.

Cola and dried fruit nose. Reflected on the palate, with very good balance and increasingly silky texture as the wine aired. Decent pinot, but disappointing from this producer. Drink it up.

A distinctive and well structured pinot. "Sineann-esque", but not his best. Paired with a cedar plank smoked salmon with a rub- seemed like a good match but in the end they competed a bit.

Notes from day 2. Nice dark purple color, a medium bodied red. On the nose there is black raspberry, red cherry, tobacco, and a hint of spice. On the palate there is black and red raspberry, cherry, earth, chocolate (really more noticable on the first day) and some nice velvet tannin on the finish. Really nice mouth feel and an average finish. Nice bottle, pushes it for the price and its was not as impressive as the 06 though. 50+5+13+17+5

Took a bit to settle down, but this was really nice. Not as big as some of Peter's wines, but this was very well balanced, good fruit, and a nice finish.

Sometimes I am just too impatient for my own good. I had promised myself that I would wait longer for this wine. Yet, here I sit drinking my last bottle with a sheepish grin. The nose is intense with bold scents of black cherry and grape bubble gum with an underlying scent of fresh earth, dry twigs, and fresh eucalyptus. As I pull the glass away from my nose there is a fleeting scent of vanilla extract. In the mouth this wine is bold and robust. Intense flavors of wild blueberries, and black fruit dominate the palate as this wine sash e's it's way down to the gullet with a lingering dryness on the palate that calls for duck breast or salmon. This is a truly lovely wine...I only hope that if you have this in a 750ml that you will give it time to settle...it should be at it's best from 2010-2013 and should last until 2017

Dark extracted black cherry with tobacco spice, dark fruit, and earth on the nose with cherry in the mouth and on the finish. Very approachable and velvety on the palate but somewhat single dimensional with a finish that drops off too soon. However, very good.

On the nose scents of fresh bing cherry, red plum, and crushed stone give way to lingering cedar notes. In the mouth flavors of blackberry, black plum, and wild Maine blueberry dominates leading to subtle flavors of dark chocolate and wild raspberry. The finish on this wine is beautiful and 30+ seconds long...

Tasted June 17, 2007 at the winery. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of earth, thistle and some mixed red fruits. Simple flavors of red cherries and berries with a slightly earthy finish. Medium acidity, firm tannins, medium body. Hold.

Not as good as 2006, better than 2007. Opened up with a nice finish. Up front it's typical Oregon PN.
