A strange grassy and tight thing going on here. I was underwhelmed, all the more so because of the strong recommendation this came with. It coupled acceptably with a fromage d'affanois, but compared unfavorably with a Drouhin Puilly Fuisse '05. Can't say I recommend it, but given my affection for Bize blancs I will revisit it later.

Martin Scott Wines Portfolio Event (New York City): Light lemon color, almost water-white. This saw no oak treatment. Nice minerality on the nose, also intense white fruit. Dry on the palate, a bit thin but good flavor.
