  • Now starting to come into its own. Tasted a few times over last 18 months, fruit is becoming more pronounced and the balancing of flavors/acidity nicely rounding out. Merlot overwhelms the cab, other than in the backnote of blackcurrants. Needs decanting

Still struck by the weight of the bottle; these guys have tried to produce a quality product, and it is improving with time. I can understand how this would not have impressed in its youth

  • probably one of the best organic wines I have tasted. Not sure why these wines do not have the traditional body that I like but that is the case.

  • A blood red/magenta in the nose. Stinky nose. Earth and tobacco. The fruit slowly come forward. It's a tough call upon tasting. Some earthiness and funkiness competes with vegetal and fruit flavors. Not very tannic. This is a good wine for some people. However, I think over time, the vegetal flavors are going to dominate this wine, and the fruit will all disipate.
