Was in the mood for some advanced character and got it with this. Clear and slightly fading eye, fragrant nose of mature raspberry and ash of all things. Not floral and "pretty" like young Savigny, but good mature fruit which carries through, lively attack, and bit of ash. I like '04s right now. Last bottle, but would buy again if I saw it. Later: the ash has mellowed but is still there, the fruit persists (round 04 fruit), hints of nice leather underneath. Just what I wanted.

Very similar flavor profile to the plain Bourgogne -- with a little bit more going on. Very nice -- raspberries and strawberries -- but maybe not worth the additional cost vs. the Bourgogne.
