Spicey nose of raspberry, vanilla, and white pepper. Palate is smooth and round, nice red fruits up front and rather strong oak influence. Medium length finish, somewhat simple, but adds cedar and stone. A little heavy on oak, but the fruit still shines and a nice wine for the money.

Solid, but not great. Great Ruby color, not a lot of fruit on the aroma. Slight smell of dust and slight metallic taste on the first sip. Much better after it had opened up. Very drinkable after the meal.

I'm not crazy abut this wine, but I'm no expert on Chianti. It has a beeflike, almost bisonlike flavour. Hints of barbecue. Pleasantly dry and tannic. Might be better in about 2 or 3 years perhaps. Not bad for an $11 half bottle. Good.

Excellent bouquet on the nose, should be decanted for approx 1-2 hours. Aged well / recommended to drink in the next 6-12 months.

Good bottle of wine. Had a wonderful nose after a few hours open. Plum and a little spice on the finish. Cant go wrong for $10.
