Great bottle of Montagny. This light-golden colored wine showed great primary fruit straight from bottle. One could miss a more distinct acidity but I am sure the pieces will fall together in a year or two. Compared to J-M Boillot's Bourgogne Blanc, I find the Montagny more of a light-bodied elegantier but with a sweeter fruit. Both provide excellent value for money, though. Classic stuff but not without a touch of oak.
