Opened barely - the cork would not budge and when it came out, was in pieces. Jammy zinny nose with bright berry, brambly flavors on a medium body. Strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, spicy cherry - basically all the reds in abundance. A massive wine.

Opened prior to beach gig, finished the next day. Full throttle, thick, bombastically dense and jammy. A 15.9% behemoth, showing ultra-ripe plum, blackberry, prune, raisin, fermenting strawberry, on a wood timber frame. There's sweet orange on the nose as well. Highly glyceric. These grapes needed to be picked at least 2-3 weeks earlier. Cork crumbled and half was left in the bottle.

Opened and drank, big jammy wine, lots of fruit, mostly blue fruit with some blackberry. Went well with Indian food and was still drinkable alone after dinner.

PnP. Nice fruit-driven nose with jammy red and blue fruit, some spice and no etoh. Soft on the palate, with persistent medium intensity fruit from entry to beyond finish. Light acidity, some finesse for a zin, low complexity. Nice with pasta.

This wine is still so youthful and wrapped up, it's gotta have a decant to let it unwrap. I got blue fruit, earthy truffle (much like the 2006 Carlisle Carlisle) but a tight finish. Would have been nice to have tried this tonight and see what was there but the bottle disappeared.

Very interesting zin. I was expecting a burner considering the 15.9% alcohol, but was very surprised that the alcohol was not overpowering. Plums and berries and a nice finish. Very nice.

First Zin we've had from Novy and we're very happy with it. Very well balanced with good fruit and earthy balance. Good with pizza or without food.

No formal notes, but good zin with lots of fruit flavor. Not a lot of spice. A bit hot.

Nice soft zin with notes of raspberry jam, plums and a dusting of pepper on the finish. No alcohol on the nose.

plums, rasberries and lots of pepper. Oak not too noticeable to me. Some spritz when first opened; settled after an hour or so.

Plum, blackberries and spice on the nose and palate with tasty acidity but let down by ETOH on the finish.
