This bottle sang!! If you own it, it is gorgeous, right now, and amazing to taste over the course of a few hours, but this could lay down for another ten years. Easily.

Guesses were mostly older, the fruit here could have used more freshness, though there was still acidic and tannic structure to suggest it needed more time. B/B-

Wow, what a surprise. This must have been stored pristinely. Beautiful, aromas of crushed cherries, mushrooms, spices, and floral perfume. A beautiful silky palate with cherries, flowers, and hints of earth. The mid-palate was plenty full with great sweet fruit notes and balancing acidity. Just a lively wine and what a pleasant surprise for a 14 year old village wine.

Great at the beginning, but as the night went on the aromas and notes of dusty mineral (iron is just about right) became a little too prominent for me. It did give off very nice mushroom and crushed flower petal notes intermixed with red berries, nonetheless.

Pristine bottle of this. Quite elegant red fruits, touch of earth and slice, showing true chambolle. Wouldn’t hold any longer.

The fruit was long gone and the color was brown but it must have been nice in its day
