Wonderfully "soft" Sauvignon Blanc. Lime and wet rock on the nose with a smoothness that is different than many SBs. Medium body with nice complexity similar to nose...citrus, minerals, and maybe some stone fruit...Very good but not what I was expecting.

I drank this with stir fried scallops on 4/14/08. The nose was predominately pear…also some lemon/lime, orange peel and smoke aromas. It was a little dry with good acidity. It lacks complexity, but is a good, basic wine.

Enjoyed before dinner out in Memphis at Rendezvous with Brill, Brad, Jen and Annie. Nice balanced SB again by Benziger. Marshmallows and candy Circus Peanuts on the nose. Excellent crisp and pure finish with nice minerality. Surprisingly silky for a SB. Gotta love the clean feel of the biodynamic approach to winemaking.
