Very nice. Quickly opened up and within 20min sourness of Chardonney balanced out and taste was rich deep and strong. Plenty of fruits, even level to sweetness. It smells like Lemon, Orange, Herbes de Provence, and Lavender. The body is Medium/Full. The wine is textured Round. The wine finishes Long.

Full bodied, lots of mineral. Not entirely unlike an oaked chablis grand cru. Ripe, yellow fruit and elegant oak - not overdone. Surprisingly light in the mouth but a little bit too high in alcohol.

On the nose I got caramel, vanilla bean, vanilla, spice, pear, honey, apple, and toasty oak. In the mouth, the fruit came out of hiding with apple, pear, tropical notes, and toast rounding out the palate. Although the oak was there, this was no butter bomb. It had great acidity that kept all the flavors in check and was more like an apple crumble in a glass.

Really hedonistic, but light to no oak. Malo. Lots of honey, apple, peaches. I could use more acidity. Reminded me of a white burgundy I had recently that had a hint of botrytis. quite good for hedonism.

Really enjoyed this - well balanced, mature but not over the hill, really round and rich mouth feel. Very good value at this price (£80 for 6).

Crisp, refreshing, unoaked yet unctuous, with enough body to pair well with roasted pork tenderloin.
