Nice notes of strawberry, dried herbs and vanilla. Some secondary aromas of burnt caramel or toffee. The palate was clean and balanced with a nice finish. Excellent wine for the price. Solid QPR.

Very nice wine, but not what I think of as pinot. Would have guessed this was a syrah. Explosive dark fruit with a bit of funky earth on the nose. Concentrated thick dark fruit in the mouth with good body and assertive tannins. Very tasty bottle of wine, just not what I expected.

David Bowler Fall 2007 Portfolio Tasting (NYC): Medium ruby color. Sweet and funky nose of cherries, cola and a sort of grassy element that reminded me of a Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate, nicely focused strawberry flavors, medium bodied with good persistence.
