Gorgeous golden color but fresh and clean as a whistle. Just hints of development on the palate -- teeny bit o' petrol and truffle, candied fruit on the palate (but dry), lovely.

CT Texas VI - Return to San Antonio; 10/18/2013-10/19/2013 (San Antonio): This bottle just did not do it for me tonight. Decent enough nose with petrol, pear, mineral, and cardamom. On the palate a bit oil, with pear, mineral, spice, and apple. Shortish finish lacking in the zing I was expecting. Really good, but just not that exciting.

Showing a rounder, glossy presentation of yellow plum and cardamom with a kiss of vanilla. Nose combines pineapple and minerals. Nice long finish. I liked this better in 2010 but this is still very fine. Not sure what to think about the future flavor profile but it won't degrade for a long while. 91-92

This is so grand cru. One of the most penetrating, delicious, complex, fresh, mineral laden wines I've had in some time, agree with pineapple, nectarine, also white fruit, lime, blossom, and granite dust. Showing better than 2 years ago, I'm thrilled to hold a couple more of these to drink in the next 10 years.

Showing great as always -- signs of development, dark golden color, toasted nuts/kerosene/ slight funk but in a good way. Versatile food wine!

Dark golden hue, not oxidized or over the hill tho -- lovely balance of fruit, acidity. petrol-mineral funk, classic developing Alsace

CT Offline VI--San Antonio Edition (San Antonio, TX): Certainly not overly-sweet. Dry, earthy, complex, with hints of lychee mixed with forest, moss, and chili / white pepper.

Bright yellow in color. Subtle nose of peaches, apricots and pineapple. Very ripe and full on the pallate with pineapple and peach. Very nice wine.
