Five years past vintage, so this bottle could be past its prime. A little aroma of smelly feet, that blew off quickly. Then an aroma of yellow grapefruit. Off-dry, medium body, with grapefruit flavor and soft mouthfeel. Long grapefruit finish/aftertaste. Good without food. But the grapefruit aftertaste obnoxiously overpowered my fish, salad, and stir fried Thai eggplant. Unexpectedly, my after dinner chocolate nut candy held its own against the grapefruit, so was a good match.

Loved the 2007 Vintage, so perhaps this may need to be stored for a year before drinking. This is not ready for prime time - non the less - buy it now - it'll be delicious in a year.

Light straw color. Bouquet of tropical fruits. If you are looking for a dry sauvignon blanc, this is for you. Tastes of green apples, lemon, and mineral.

Medium lemon, clear. Nose of gooseberry, grapefruit, some tropical fruits. Similar palate. Medium to high acidity, light body, shorter finish. Drink now. Good.

Had a too cold glass at The Fish Market for lunch with tilapia. Not a fair opportunity, so I likely missed a lot. It was clean, grassy, a light citrus, and that finish that clears the taste buds.

This is one of my favorite wines. It's pleasantly sweet, light acid, and very easy to drink. My only complaint is that the bottle disappears before I know it. Good thing it's the only wine I drink that this happens with. This is a light wine with a typical zip that is typical for the varietal. The 2007 vintage is superior to the 2008, but the 2008 may improve in a few months.

Appearance: Pale, with a white-lemon type of color. It’s like straw.
Nose: Very pronounced, it will take over the room, and has a ton of aromas, such as green apple, honey, lemon, grass, and tons of pear.
Palate: Off-dry to medium, with medium acidity and no tannins. The body is average, with flavors of peach, lemonade, grapefruit, and the sweetness of honey. A nice finish appears and lingers for a good while.
Overall: A solid sauvignon blanc. For the price, it’s a good buy. The balance is great, and while the alcohol is slightly hot, it’s not overbearing at all. My bottle had some frizzante, and being young, it may soften and reveal even more flavors. A very good wine.
I give it a 90.

A touch of sweetness almost and a slight spritzy/fizzy feel. So, yes, this is a bit different from most of the NZ SB's we've had this summer. We prefer to more traditional.

Very Good Standard NZ SB with grass, berries and minerality. Crisp and clean. But had a slight off putting tinny finish that kept this from being better.

Light yellow color. A wonderful shot of grapefruit and flowers. The palate is serviceable with citrus tones and acid but the mid palate runs and hides from you. The finish returns with a wheat grass flavor. Overall a good wine for the price but it is a bit all over the place for me.

Very good. Pale yellow color with a grassy nose. Tart citrus grapefruit flavors are followed by notes of fresh cut grass. Very crisp, medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc, with just a little bit of spritz on the tongue. Excellent QPR – one of Marlborough’s best offerings at the $10 price point. Quite refreshing, I will certainly buy this again.

Grassy, citrusy nose. Medium bodied with nice, crisp acidity. Lime and green chili peppers on the palate. Nice value and paired well with a cold shrimp salad.

Pale yellow tinge. Citrus, and fresh grass jump out of this rather pleasant bouquet. Notes of pears, grapefruit, peach and coriander can be found in both the bouquet and on the tongue in the mildly sweet sauvignon blanc. Paired very well with a butter/herb shrimp dish. I could easily see people who enjoy these types of wines scoring this 90.
