(purchased 3/28) Gail purchased this (and the 2005 vintage) for a Karen MacNeil meal: Pear-Cheese Strata. This was served for the dinner, most of the 2005 was used with the recipe. This had a lighter aroma, of pears and apples, than the 2005. Taste was crisp and fruity with a tinge of sweetness; ok body to go with the custard flavors in the Strata. The fruit taste paired nicely with the Strata's nutty flavored Gouda cheese and caramelized pears.

Clean and slate-y on the nows showing some honeyed citrus flavors on the palate. Off-dry, but nicely balanced with supple acidity. A clean, polished wine.

Apricots, pears, and honey on the nose. More of the same on the palate but the honey really overpowered this one making it just too sweet. It almost tasted like a mead. Nice acidity though.

Good riesling. Sweet, but refreshing. Good value at $10.00.

at 10 bucks it was ok. As others mentioned, there is lots of honey on the nose and the palate. Rather simple.

Just ok - a little rough on the finish. Hints of floral and honey.
