Nice dark color. Nice chewy, chocolatey fruit in the nose. Rather dark fruit flavors, a bit prunelike but not too alcoholic. Not a flavor profile I'm fond of. 4-11-14-4: 83/100.

med bodied; tannins smooth; a little short lived on the nose; nice but not over the top fruit and went well with a NY Prime strip which is why I picked it. - lighter tannins and med bodied.

Medium denotes this wine but not in a bad way; it has med body, med fruit, very well balanced, and smooth; while I had with steak, this would be good with lamb (basic and not too much seasoning), venison or anything basic. The "terrior" is noticeable but again medium; Not big, nice nose and finish.

Getting better still. Really long smooth finish. Goes on and on. Nice balance of friut and spice and a surprising rich and full mouth feel. Probably at its peak.

Decanted for four hours. Smooth fruit, leather, cassis, pencil lead, more elegant than most Spring Mtn cabs, a little light on the nose, medium length finish. Very nice wine. Will age well. Need to let sit for several years.

This wine matured and came into its own. Now a beautiful cab with bright berry and dark fruit flavors, hints of cedar, cumin, a fleshy midpalate with smoked meat, and a moderately long finish. This was an impressive improvement with some time. Wish I had a few more bottles now.

I haven't tried this wine for over a year due to the offensive tanins. Upon opening, the wine had a wonderful nose, dark berry and cedar. Med body wine that was quite enjoyable. I thought this would go very well with a grilled sirloin. Left in the glass for 30 mins...revisited, the wine was starting to fall apart. After 90 mins. it became Green, herbacious and sour. Too bad I have 5 more btls!

Wonderful earthy taste with some initial harshness followed by smoothing flavors. Tasty, burnt notes that complemented our sloppy joes just wonderfully.

Strong, young Cabernet. Started harsh, but opened up after about 2 hours, and being decanted. This wine is a brut, but with strong flavors of pine and cedar, earth, blackberry and raspberry, celery, and coffee. I will wait no less than 5 years before i attempt to open another.

Delicious. Complex, not too heavy. Drinking well now and still has several years in front of it.

Tastes like a very nice, aged, Bordeaux. Nice cassis flavors, and a bit of green pepper.

Drinks very nicely. Good fruit and aged complexity. The dry character smoothed out within and hour. Med long finish. Drink soon.

This is wonderful. The burnt earth pops from the first sip. Leather dominates teh midpalate. The finish is long and smoothing.

Bouquet hardly distinghuable. Early flavors are muted..black cherries burst in the middle and ending is distinctly burnt.
