Chilled, then opened and poured, served with lemon pepper chicken and wild rice. Nose and flavors consistent with notes from vintagedds and mrbuzz - lemon, green apple, a little pineapple, maybe a hint of carmelized pear, a little oak and minerality, medium finish. Nice....not sure how much life it has left.

Not sure what to expect with this one. Opened anddrank immediately from the cellar. Golden yellow rod in color. Pineapple, slight lemon, and light oak on the nose. The palate was full of citrus, more towards a grapefruit and lemon. Tasting great, nut dissapointed there are no more in the callar to try a few years later. This bottle showed the possiblity of a little aging still left in this vintage.

Man this is a dead ringer for good Chablis! Cellar temp really brings out the minerality, and citrus lemony fruit. You get fresh tartness green apples, sea shell, lemon creme, nice ginger spice, the very slightest touch of vanilla oak. Drinking way better than the '07....wish I had more of this '06. Would love to age this out a few more years.

A nice Napa white without the typical domestic Chard drawbacks. Beautiful nose. Good acidity keep it fresh and crisp. Notes of citrus, green apple, and medium finish.

Even better than the 2007 I just had.....more mineral, doughness ala White Burgundy....crisp citrus, floral ginger spice, toast, lemon creme. Drink this with 30 min out of the fridge...it brings out the best in this wine. Grand Cru Chablis????? WOW!

LWTF - Napa Tasting (London): (Brief notes & thoughts from Walkaround Tasting): Abundant exotic fruits on the nose, but the palate is different, with a more linear shape framed by lemon slices and a vein of fresh, bright acidity. Approachable rather than complex, this is a nice little drinker.

Pale yellow color with notes of citrus, apple and lemon peel. On the palate, flavors of apple and pear round out on a nice, long finish. Good acidity keeps it fresh. Very well done. 89-90. $20.

Classic Napa aromas and flavors but showing good restraint. Good balance of tropical and citrus fruits without being overly ripe or cloying. Fruity, medium-bodied palate finishing with golden delicious apples. A nice bottle.

Un chardonnay fácil de beber: olores a cítricos, color pálido pero no tan cremoso como algunos expertos están pretendiendo.

Almost New Zealand-esque tart citrus fruit with crisp acidity and a clean finish. Very little noticeable oak. Pair with food.
