This is great! On the nose you get a bit of the honeyed old white burg thing, but on the palate this is super fresh and zingy, really quite piercing acidity. Love it.

Leroy Week; 8/24/2021-8/27/2021 (Hong Kong): Sesame, white flowers, peach, yellow fruit. Just classic classic 90s Leflaive, opulent, sweet and with those characteristic creamy flavors. Rich, sweet and precise on the palate supported by the perfectly balanced vintage acidity. Pinching sharp finish. More please. 94-95

Had this at Guy Savoy where it’s been stored since release. At a mature state, with notes of baked apple and caramel alongside 96’s crisp acidity. Enjoyable but nowhere near the energy or density of the GCs from this vintage (particularly Batard), I would drink up if I owned any.

Härlig honungsdoft med citrusinslag. Fet känsla som balanseras av pigga syror. Känns mycket fräscht men skulle inte törsas lagra det så värst mycket längre. FÄRG Klar? Ja. Färg: Medel + gyllene. Kant: 2 mm mot vattenklar. Intensitet: Medel +. Färgar glaset? Nej. Gardiner: Tunna.
Sadly, opened five straight bottles and all five were heavily oxidized, with one corked as well. Risks of buying on the secondary market, especially white burgundy.

Consumed at Cepage restuarant in Hong Kong . Wonderful on the nose with high minerality . Good length but somehat subdued - perhaps a few years past its best .

This wine is a little tired, it seems. There is a nice burst of steely minerals, and a very nice tart lemon peel finish. Crisp acid. I bet it was better 5 years ago.

Golden color. Mature, slightly madeirized nose of hazelnuts, lemon oil and rich minerals. Intense with firm acidity but also mature fruit flavors of hazelnuts and lemons. Has an oily texture and finishes slightly madeirized but in a good way that adds tang and complexity. Concentrated and a bit smoky and the saturated flavors stay in the mouth for quite some time after the wine is gone. If anything, lacks a bit of the usual elegance of premier cru white Burgundy. Delicious and ready now.

Seems perfectly aged with delicious flavors of lemon/lime and hazlenut. Nice oily texture combined with a concentrated, long, minerally finish. This would show beautifully at the dinner table with fish.

White-flower aromatics. Supple, and the prominent 96 acidity added edges to the overall profile.

Might have been nice despite some hints of oxidation, but the bottle was heavily corked.
