Great Wine Dinner with Friends and Wagyu (Western Chicago IL Suburbs): An unusual wine tonight, this came across as disjointed and never fully emerged as balanced. Perhaps slightly past its peak, perhaps an off bottle, this was about an 87 point wine tonight.
pure yellow gold color, with a wax, cheese and butterscotch on the nose, the palate is loooong, with buttersctoch and apricots. fantastic.
