i had higher expectations for this wine. it wasn't built as powerfully as i thought it would be. i think the window for this wine has closed. faint fruit on the nose, but more mineral.

very disappointing bottle. Overpowering eucalyptus nose, very little fruit evident. Deep purple color, but beginning to see some browning edges. Mint dominated the finish. Doesn't seem to be much left here.

Rubi color, would expect some aging signs on the rim but not quite there. Once brought up to the nose it showed very intense mint/eucaliptus, if you could get past that mint shield you could sense some secondary oak but not so much fruit. Very distinctive and nice on the nose but the mouth failed to follow through. I guess it's past it's peak and the hollow mid palate was a little disapointing. The finish leaves the mint again and it was best on it's own than with the food.

I enjoyed the wine simply for its uniqueness. It was very dark and strong on the nose. It finished very dry. My biggest issue was trying to get the cork out. Had to bring it out very slow.

This wine was one of the darkest in the vertical, and the only one in the purple spectrum. Bright, clear with a watery rim. Very reticent nose. This wine took the longest to open up, and when it did, it dissapointed. Eucaliptus green tobacco leaf, herbs with only a hint of black fruit. With time, some new leather and moldy aromas emerged. I suspected cork taint, but after swirling, the moldiness dissappeared. The highest acidity in the group and much more pleasant in the mouth than in the nose. What threw me off the most was that 2 people in the tasting really liked this wine (¿¿¿????).

Overall good but lacking in complexity and concentration to be a great wine.

- Garnet color. It's balanced with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish.

Tasting. Firm black aromas, Tannic, tightly structured on palate with a toasty, slightly harsh finish today. Hold to 2007 or later.
