  • Day 1 popped and poured, not much here. Nose is muted and wine seems very tight. Medium bodied, will see what Day 2 brings...score of 84 or so. Day 2 brings a major improvement, the wine has opened dramatically...casis, dark chocolate, vanilla/sweet oak...very good for an economy cab. Day 2 score of 89...Average of 86. Surprisingly complex cab, good +.

  • Deep red colour, very opaque. Pleasant raspberry, black cherry smell (with mild oak?). Dry, medium body. Lots of fruit, some oak. As Kenito799 pointed out, well integrated tannins. Had a pleasantly astringent, lingering aftertaste. Well balanced. it went very nicely with a beef tenderloin.

  • Aroma of blackberry, chocolate, leather. Flavor-packed and very well balanced, very delicious, not sweet, lots of elegant black fruit with vanilla and chocolate hints, tannins well integrated. Very well made.
