Ripe, rich dark berry fruit with a hint of appleskin and a distinctive pleasant spice note. Light and airy with extremely fine, soft tannins but very good intensity. Not much secondary development yet. Impressive for the intensity given the lightness of its extract. Can be drunk now if you like it frooty but otherwise not yet mature.

Delicious red cherry, raspberries, and floral notes on the expressive nose and layered palate with refreshing acidity on the long finish. Another stellar 2006 pinot from Littorai!

Decanted an hour or so before consuming. Nice nose of red fruits, liqueur like taste on the palate made it harsh and not enjoyable. I suppose this was from the >14% alc. Long finish that was nice. Overall a disappointment though

Popped and poured. Very light ruby red; quite reticent on the nose but quite intense on the palate with definite red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) and a liqueur like taste with little in the way of tannins. Not a lot of complexity and lacking the spicy, forest floor notes that Littorai Pinots often have.

Opened not decanted. Consumed over two days. Better on day two. Last night I started to form the opinion that I'm not that much of a fan of the Savoy vineyard, but after tonight I'm wavering. There is that distinctive dark black fruit shellac on the nose that distinguishes it from other vineyards as well as the hint of clove and cinamon on the finish. Throw in some citrus and this is a well made and enjoyable wine. Good +

Had a choice of some Oregon Pinot Noirs and this one from California. Chose this one because I wanted a fuller, spicier wine for the dinner. But, when this thing hit the glass, it was so light and delicate, like a sweet Oregon Pinot flower. Not exactly what I was looking for. However, when I tasted it there was a little more heft than I thought. Still on the delicate side, with floral, red fruit and spice notes. Elegant balance and long finish. The thing I liked most about this wine was that I wanted to keep it in mouth for a while - as I swirled it on my palate, layers developed that would not have been there had I not lingered. Very nice Pinot.

A lot of structure for a Cali Pinot, but I really like this wine. Lovely dark fruit. And it has a level a balance. Should improve for years but I enjoy it very much now.

Opened not decanted. Showing some clarity at the edge of the glass, about 1/8". Sweet strawberry fruit on the nose. On the palate: a dry, spice attack on the entry with wet and dry, tangy peach, apricot and cherry, with some heat; ends with a dried summer fruit finish. Good to Very Good.

my clear favorite in this mini vertical. lighter in both the color and fruit...in a good way. there was a lovely countenance to this wine, and a very linear progression from nose, to midpalate, to finish. very nice.

Fragrant nose with brown spice, and mid-to-low range red fruit. Same on the palate. Suffers from a lack of acidity and concentration. Tepid iteration of an Anderson Valley pinot noir. Expected much more for the price.

Less body and acidity than the 2010. But drinking very well, quite elegant.

solid wine but not a good value at $60 IMO...a bit astringent on palate...also too tart for my palate but I also prefer burgs
