Leslie visits Cleveland - Part 2: Still showing youthfully. A testament to the glass corks perhaps? Sweet lychees on the nose. Slightly bitter on the palate, but complex and refreshing. Slick texture.

Light straw color, <5% opaque. Sweet honeydew and light citrus oil aroma. Excellent balance of acidity and sugar that really is closer to dry than off-dry but that touch of sweetness works so well with the spice and pepper in food. It makes the flavors just pop out with the combination. In addition, a platform of minerality gives a wonderfully clean feel. Almost perfect for Sushi - I might just go a touch sweeter with a Reisling next time. Will be happy to buy future vintages (5+10+17+7) = 89

Paired with grilled halibut with rosemary lemon butter. This wine was all about lemon curd with a certain minerality and spiciness and zippy acidity. One of those wines that you can't stop drinking until the bottle is gone.

Enjoyed this one year ago, and still do today. Foral elements. A hint of fruit, but not over the top. Went well with Thai food. Purchased at Max's store in pound Ridge. $22.

Very light pale yellow, about 5% saturated. Fragrance of sweet citrus fruit. Light body with great structure in it's flavors and acidity. (4+10+18+8) = 90

Enjoyed this bottle at Ouest Restaurant in NYC with business associates. Nice smell right out of the bottle. A hint of fruit, but not over the top. A nice floral feel to this wine. Went well with sea scallops. Good QPR, even at restaurant prices ($45).

I am seldom impressed with domestic Gewurtz (or imported for that matter) but this is special. More exotic fruit than urinal hokey puck aromas. Ripe, sweet but lively flavors really make this sing. From a very unique vineyard in the Gorge and from very old vines, I'm told.

Nice light color. Nose is floral, with a hint of citrus. On the palate there is citrus, passion fruit, and a hint of a floral element that ends with some white pepper slight acidty. Light in body, nice when it is triple digits and at a Petty concert. Now this is my type of gewurz, would definately buy again at <$20.

Probably just past its peak. Shows a honeyed nose and a nice lychee/honey palate. Tasty but not much on the midpalate or finish.
