Glossy, deeply red fruited (cherries, chocolate, plums), and not a ton of development on this yet. Obviously a lot stuffing and good quality, but at this point rather sturdy and extracted still, not coming together so well yet. I think more time lying down will serve this a ton of good. Maybe another 5-8 years.

Boxing day at Caroline's: Brought for a friend, don’t see this maker being opened often in Singapore. Reminded me of Laurent but with more refined and expensive oak (which had integrated with age). Masculine with dark cherry fruit and spice notes. Agree with a previous taster that this was a well-made wine but I prefer Burgs in a prettier style. Think the others liked this a lot more than I did.

One year since my last bottle. Consistent notes, a savory Burgundy with dark fruit, wood spices and balsamic notes. Very aromatic and with good length, but personally I would prefer a fresher and more red fruited style when it comes to Vosne Romanee.

Opened 3 hours before Nose: earthy, smoke, tea , a bit oak palate : quite strong tannin, high acidity and earthy tone, moderate extraction and tannic/tea finished. Overall the fruit was still on smooth side. Just found a bit of chamoblle character for fruit, and the strong earthy tone/smoke masked it's character. Really depends if you love a stronger expression of CM.

Medium to dark garnet. Very aromatic sweet spices, more dark than red fruited, balsamic and soy notes, rich and round without any noticeable tannins or hard edges. Medium to long finish. Very pretty.

Medium garnet. Expressive nose with great Chambolle typicity of bright red fruit, bakery, minerals and sweet spices, hard not to love this. Fresh palate entry with lively acidity and excellent fruit core. Finishes with a mineralic spine. Textbook Chambolle Musigny.

Same wine as Melvin’s. Fantastic wine. Very true to its terroir, showing the power of the plot.

Excellent Chambolle. Darker than some of the others we had, but ready to go and quite tasty. Vineyard here sits just above Musigny.

Understated, but elegant pinot aromas. Silky and delicate mouth feeling, with evident tannins.

An Evening with Martine Saunier (Chicago, IL): Some sulfur. Red notes. Nice body. Brighter palate than the '07s. Should turn out well with time.
