Very smooth. Perhaps a little too smooth. Missing much of the characteristics that I like in a Tempranillo, but overall very enjoyable. I guess the Syrah and Grenache components took over.

Dark purple-ruby ink. Dried black cherry and brambly fruit, little coca, and dusty loam. Palate has lush, concentrated dark brambly fruit; off-dry with firm tannins and a long balanced, albeit dusty tannin, finish. Very versatile at the table. 92/B+ = 50/5/11/9/8/9

Tasted over 2 days. Deep dark purple garnet color. Aromas of dark plum, cherry, dark bitter cocoa powder, berry fruit, spicy cracked pepper, brush, and some ETOH vapor from the 15% alcohol. medium to full bodied. Big bold ripe fruit that is well structured with big firm gripping tannins. nice... but not quite as polished as i remembered from a previously try at a restaurant.

We served this wine with thick cut pork chops; everyone enjoyed both.

Not as full bodied as we remembered at the winery. Too weak for a tempranillo but otherwise a fairly enjoyable wine to drink on a weekday.

Each bottle seems a bit smoother.

Much smoother than last bottle. Decanted with venturi and drank. Great color and fruit.

Drank straight from bottle to the glass could have used some time to open up. A little tight, with tannins. Will let it rest a year.
