Color is dark garnet with a hint of browning at the rim. Nose shows spice and dark fruit. On the palate, dark berry at the front framed immediately by acidity and still present tannin. Some spice on the palate as well. Don't know whether the tannin will ever settle down enough for the fruit to outlast it...

Strong dark ruby. Good viscosity. Nose is shy but does yield up faint scents of dark berry fruit. Quite tannic but drinkable, I'm not sure there's enough fruit to stand up to the tannin over too many more years. The nose and mouth are composed of all secondary components and while there is plenty of life here, this could use a good steak to bring out its charms. 4-10-11-7: 82/100

Singing beautifully. Black currants, cassis, berries. Much better than the last bottle which may have been off. This has hit its peek and will drink well for years to come.

Fully mature, this medium bodied, earthy, mineral driven, silky wine serves up fresh, sweet, ripe black and red cherries, truffle and stone notes.

Nicely balanced wine. It has a few years of bottle age left.

I had a bottle a few nights ago. Nice acids, well incorporated wood, good earthy notes. Well balanced and very good.
