  • This was my last bottle of Monthelie white from Lafon. As sometime this may happen, that was the best bottle from a purchase of 6 bottles. Beautiful showing with pale gold color, on the nose, buttery, coconutty even, plenty of honey, flower and grapefruity backbone. The aftertaste lingering on beautifully. In fact, much more than the other bottles and certainly more than what one would expect from a village wine, that I was wondering if my brain was working on the fact that this was the last bottle, and that I had made up my mind not to purchase anymore... hum... My wife and I certainly enjoyed this very much.

  • tired bottle already. Very flat, and none of the aromas, flavors that it had a couple of years ago.
Don't think I will any more of those.
