After 3+ hours of aeration, velvety but still structured. Very enjoyable, even next day. (Not Il Poggio, just Riserva).

The Il Poggio was a little tired but still very good. The fruit was not vibrant but had a delicious ripeness like dark berries with earthiness. The wine was definitely past its peak.
