I brought this to serve blind and that's pretty cruel. Although it's made from pinot noir by a quality producer, there's nothing on the palate or or nose that says pinot noir. I ended up trying to give everyone a hint by telling them to ignore the flavor and focus on the texture, which is the closest thing to pinot noir. Lana got white pepper and wondered if it was gruner veltliner. I didn't get white pepper but got more of a generic spice. Several of us got citrus flavors. A little bit of oak on the attack. Towards the end of the evening Glenn said he started to pick up red fruits but I didn't get any. An interesting wine. I've got a bottle left that I'd like to try again in a year or two. I don't see this being a medium-term ager.

Screw cap. Creamy nose with slight butter and some reddish stone fruits. Palate sows nice weight and richness without being over bearing with solid acidity. I've had this blind before and mistook it for a Chardonnay made in a more traditional style. Very nice and well priced. Makes me wonder what kind of sparkler could be made from this. Held up over 3 days consistently. A unique treat from Adam. Don't serve it too cold as the chill really flattens the richness of the wine making it rough like it does good Champagne.

Southern Rhones for Lunch.....well mostly (Jason Hagen's office): Served blind. Light nose of soft butter and a note of caramel with a touch of heat. Lean feeling palate with a very soft light richness in the middle with lemon and stony notes. Guessed Chardonnay that seemed something between the Cotes and Chablis. Cool surprise, a very unique wine and very good for the price. First time I tried this next to Adam and liked it them though not quite as much as I did on this occasion.

Started out well, kinda dull in the middle, and had somewhat of an alcoholic finish. It started tasting better after warming up.

Reminded me of a dusty chardonnary. Somewhat tart but very floral, well balanced and clean. A nice change.

Reminscent of a very floral Viognier, this has ample fruit and good acidity. A hint of peach color, this is a treat.. a white Pinot.. very cool.

Very cool.. a white Pinot!! Deep yellow color, some well integrated oak on the palate. Good acidity, and fun to drink. Very enjoyable.

Really interesting, I've never had a still blanc de noir before. Tasted full like a chardonnay, with some oak, but more acidity towards the finish.

I thought this would be tasty but it was more. Nice chardonnay like richness with balanced burst of acidity on the back.
