Time to drink up. The nose is nicely lifted with sous bois, wet fir tree. Pretty steely, wet stone, backed up by boysenberry and finished with tannin impact. Drink 1-2 years, it’s not going down but it’s at or past the peak.

Fading with plenty of sediment on the side of the bottle. Smoke, dirt and cranberry on the nose with tight cherry, tannin, oak and drying finish. I'd drink any time and sooner than later.

Last opened 3 years ago. Blueberry and black raspberry flavors and solid body. Some of the aromatics appear to have faded. Am racheting my score down a bit. This wine is likely at or near peak, and it's time to drink up!

Blueberry and aromatics in the nose, flavors of blueberry, pepper and moderate tannins finish a bit chalky and stony. I’d drink 1-2 years if not sooner.

This was absolutely delicious. Wish I had a lot more as this bottle still seemed like it had years to go before its peak. Great typicity of high quality Napa cab, but would have guessed much younger due to the power it is still packing.

From magnum. Brambly berries and herbs, still quite a bit of tannic spine. Very good, but not the equal of the 2008 Les Pavots that was on tap this evening.

Wow! Bramble berries and herbal bouquet (sage essence?) in the nose. A full-throttle Napa cabernet sauvignon that is a joy to drink. Will age well for a few more years, at least.

Opaque dense color garnet with hints of purple violet at the rim. The smells are cassis, smoke, light spice, espresso, blackberry, and menthol. The tastes are currants, dark fruit, vanilla, toast, earth, espresso, and cedary notes. The acidity is very zingy and the tannins are stout and woody with velvety furry texture. This begs for juicy steak or lamb. Had this with bison and it was a good food match.

This improved greatly by day #2. This was good but oaky and edgy on first day. Came together nicely on day 2. Big, dark wine. A bit extracted but very tasty cassis flavor in a velvety package by the end. Borderline outstanding last glass which is what the score reflects but wasn't complex enough for me.

Nose of dark fruit with some alcohol (14.5% abv) poking through. The alcohol was less noticeable on the palate. Flavors of dark fruit, boysenberry, and some pleasant herbal notes. Fine tannins and a silky mouth feel. Med+ finish, with just a touch of heat on the back end. A very solid effort.

this was lovely. the tannins are soft and smooth, unusually so (in a good way) for a cab. the fruit flavors are satisfying but the wine isn't very expressive (yet?) so time may help but the mouthfeel is the star of the show here for the time being. If you've got one bottle, save it a few years. If you have multiples, it's worth opening one now for a peek with the others to save and follow.

Copious dark fruit, tannins are present but pretty much under control... But I think it just needs more bottle time to bloom to its full extent. I decanted for several hours before trying, then finished the bottle the next night. At the moment I don't think any amount of airing will do the trick -- recommend giving it 2-3 years -- eventually it should be fantastic.

Nice blueberry and pepper with classic currant and a bit of heat on exit. I see no reason to wait on these.

In a good place and ready to go with a few minutes of air in the glass. Lovely expression of aged Napa Cabernet. Drink now.

Much better on day-2. Muscular with great minerality. Drink now or hold for another few years.

A one dimensional cab that was tight and never really opened up after two days. Harsh tanins with little fruit. Not a crowd pleaser by any means!

Large bursts of ripe fruit. Lots of burnt oak. Good length but it was a little disappointing compared ot the 04. Leave for at least 2 - 3 years
