Medium garnet. At the beginning reserved note of distinctively earthy notes with some dark fruit trying to shine through, later opening a bit more. On the palate quite closed still with well present tannins but not unripe. Could be a bit more flattering but it did open up later in the glass. Decant for 1-2h or wait till 2015/16.

Post CNY wine tasting dinner (Singapore): First red flight. The Arlot NSG was a dark, earthy and well rounded wine. Medium finish. The Drouhin took a few minutes to settle but then showed much brighter red fruit and floral aromatics. Long finish. Very nice! Arlot 91. Drouhin 93+
