  • Pop and pour for initial taste. Decanted. Intense deep ruby red color, brilliant and shiny. Dusty nose, red fruits, red currants, petrol and hints of rubber. As it breathed it gained some bell pepper notes. On the palate, medium bodied, dark cherries, a streak of minerality that gies this a very different identity than other new world cabs. With time, vanilla and oak notes came out and bell pepper notes remained but this is still a nice bridge between bordeaux and napa cabs. Still feels youthfull and would be great to try at age 10.
