Darkish pink with a bit of grey. Lovely cherry, berry and slice, just a hint of reduction. Delicious dry red fruit flavours and a dry slightly oxidized finish.

Appearance: sockeye salmon with a tinge of copper. Very fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, intense red fruit, yeast, Chambord liqueur, hint of buttery biscuit. Quite rich on the palate, medium plus body, slight vinous at first. (I found that I enjoyed the wine even more when it's a bit flat the day after. The bubbles probably accentuated the alcohol. Try a quick decant just before serving. Finish quite long with notes of mineral. Good acidity backbone. Cheville (peg-shaped) cork indicating it should be consumed within a few years before it lets in the oxygen.

pale salmon color, a bit of yeast and dried flowers on the nose, fine bubbles, red cherry and cranberry flavors are carried by a zesty mouthful of mineral nuances, tart acidity, the structured body keeps the mouth watery, this is delicious and has structure to age well

Opened with a sigh - the cork stem is quite shrunken. Strawberry juice colour with lots of bubbles rising, but not in beads. Mild strawberry cheesecake nose - tangy, sharp, but creamy too. Great flavour: strawberry and raspberry purée. Very structured, plenty of fruit and good supporting acidity. This is a very rosé pink champagne, but in a serious mould. A food wine, but a great drink on its own, too. Fantastic stuff, priced about right. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Nickolls and Perks, £58]

There’s a lot going on in this champagne; but blink and you’ll miss it. You need to be really attentive to pick up all of its nuances as they weave their way in and out of the tasting journey. It is quite a big champagne really; so full-flavoured, so tasty. But it terms of body, it’s medium-full. Red cherries that are on the cusp of ripeness hit the front of the palate before opening up mid-palate into some good berry-charged acidity and firm minerality (it's almost as if I were sucking on the cherry skins). A berry jam taste then follows but it manifests more in tartness than sweetness. A lifting red grapefruit style acidity then emerges on the back of the tongue, leaving the rest of the palate with a dry taste.Subtle smokey, yeasty flavours drift up once the acidity subsides. Expect a long, tasty finish - delicious! See my full tasting notes at www.fortheloveofchampagne.blogspot.com

Perfumed rose petals, Unami and Blanched strawberries. A tinge of rotten eggs and mushy mushroom but very nicely perfumed. Delicious smooth enticing notes of light strawberries and skin. Classy and elegant. Has weight and bosoms but carries well.

Incredible colour: not the salmon you'd expect but a deep, rich, reddish-pink. Very fine mousse, though disappointingly it seemed to fade somewhat quickly. Rich, delicious strawberries on the nose and palate, this is a lovely drop, but I wish it could have kept its fizz a bit longer.

WineFanatic Nebbiolo Offline (Vancouver, BC): Tight nose with a sweet fruity entry but the mid palate comes together nicely with tart strawberry fruit and a drier finish. Good acidity. It did open up a bit eventually giving notes of mushrooms and yeast but compared to my last bottle this was very tight and even after being in the glass for almost an hour never really seemed to hit the heights of my previous bottle. Tonight this was served in very narrow flutes (I prefer wider flutes or a regular white wine glasses) and as Bill pointed out, these glasses may have had some residual detergent on them. This still drank quite well and was a nice way to start the evening. Excellent. 90+

Light pink with an orange hue. Beautiful and complex nose of strawberry, orange, yeast, hints of toast and cream. Rich mouthfeel with youthful flavours, soft and fine bubbles with great acidity and minerality. This is incredibly good already and should continue to develop into something really special. Outstanding. 93+

Toasted the arrival of our first daughter - no formal note, but a delicious wine. One of the best Rose Champagnes I have ever had further enhanced by the celebratory mood of the room. I'll be buying more.
YESish. This was ok but not as good as I would have hoped. Granted it is 10 years old and this showed in a slight tendency to bubble out. Went flat fairly quickly. Tho he wine was good, even without the bubbles but I would probably not seek out and buy again.

2010 Masters of Wine Champagne Tasting (San Francisco, CA): Gorgeous deep salmon-copper color. Incredibly rich nose: strawberries, cherries, with light cream and floral notes. Lots of upfront fruit on the medium-full bodied palate – cherries and red berries – which yield to a bit of vegetal nuance, yeast, and ample minerality on the back-end. Good acidity – should age quite nicely over the mid-term. Long finish. Fantastic – simply delicious!

Pale rosé, a bit severe in the nose and the taste; maybe this wine needs some time in the cellar. A very pure champagne with too much body for oysters (we did the check) but perfect with fish and rich salads.

Very attractive salmon-hued pink, a nose of strawberry and cherry with lovely yeasty, pastry nuances. A subtle but beautifully textured, creamy mousse. Complex palate of cherry, berry and yeasty, biscuity flavours. A very pure acidity with lovely mineral expression and a very long, lingering finish. A stunning rose Champagne.
