Grilled pineapple, dried tropical fruit, toasted nuts. Past prime but still enjoyable.

Remarkable showing for a Viognier of this age. Lovely fruit, with great balance, minearlity. A real surprise!
Medium aroma of subdued perfume. Nice and balanced on the palate with a touch of spicy perfume, but overall, slightly understaffed for a new world viognier. Drinking at or slight past its peak. 10/04
($40) Dad's 55th Birthday: The nose on this wine has gradually begun to show a bit of oak. Still carries Viognier characteristics like minerals and apricots, but in a relatively restrained manner with a nuance of orange citrus. Drink up.
Fairly simple- not as interesting as either the 1999 or 2001. Simple with some pleasant floral notes.
($40) Spicy nose of apricots. Ripe, full bodied and concentrated
($38) Balanced, concentrated Viognier that stays more restrained than flamboyant.
