Gorgeous champagne. Nose is full of melon and yeast. Great depth, fabulous length. Leaves a very positive impression. Will continue to improve for years. Complex and delicious. (92)

Great fruit and minerality--you can really taste the VV aspect now as compared to our last bottle several years ago. Or to put it another way, that fresh granny smith apple component is now more like apple sauce.

Very fruity but also sharp and focused with citrus notes and a great minerality. Still young, further cellaring will add more complexity. Right now this is thriving on the fruit. From magnum.

Very fine and persistent mousse. On the nose, surprisingly fresh and yeasty with notes of lemon, mineral, etc. Not super complex, mind you, but well-balanced and edgeless, with a good length and a mineral streak that lingering on and on. The cork is still sound. An elegant and lighter style that is similar to Delamotte.

Nice color. On the nose, this shows classy aromas of lemon curd, apricot, toast, and minerals. This is medium light bodied on the palate, with good concentration and excellent finesse. Good finish, that really has serious length and finesse.

whether you seek fruit or yeast, this will impress. fairly muted toasted nose but much fruit and acidity on the front of the palate that has a lot of weight and judicious amt of yeast in the mid palate. great complexity and finish. Great drinking today but it's built for the long term so I'd wait.

Very, very young right now but quite impressive with fresh green apple and pear fruit and an intense, vivid stony and chalky minerality on a taut, streamlined frame. There's plenty of acidity and aggressive effervescence, the flavours are very primary right now and it gives the impression that there's a lot in reserve.

Champagnes at the Wine Exchange (The Wine Exchange, Orange, CA): Sulfur seems to muddle up things here. The tight palate gives up some tart fresh citrus but it is struggling to show itself. This is in need of time but doesn't show nearly to the level of the 02 or 05.

Dallas 2nd Wednesday Group - November 2010 (Suze, Dallas, Texas): Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout with steady beading. Nose of yellow pears, a hint of lemon zest and some notes of wet stones. Flavors of yellow pears, yellow apples and lemon zest on the medium finish. Bright acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold. 91+?

The nose is beautiful with brioche and minerality but while the palate is nice with plenty of cut, there's not the depth of fruit that the 2002 possesses.

Nice. Brunch with Sue & Jim Up the Riverhouse. Lots of bubbles takes an hour to settle. Light gold. Mineral citris and apple. Young but very enjoyable.

Corked! And a magnum at that. I need an emoji for extreme pain right now.

Grower Champagnes from the Cote des Blancs (Hi-Time Wine Cellars - Costa Mesa, CA): A curious Champagne. Notes of ham and asparagus (no joke!) and lemon-lime. The palate is hollow and the finish has a metallic edge to it. Huge pass.
